Yes, iPhone and iTunes are buddies, very good; but when it comes to adding ringtones to your iPhone toy, iTunes will not let you, complaining about purchased MP3 content through the iTunes store. In other words you will not be able to add MP3 's to your iPhone if you did not purchase them through iTunes.

Another annoyance for people coming from the Windows world:

OS X Finder sorts folders and files in such a way that they are indistinguishable.

I want to see the folders sorted first, then the files, as in Windows explorer.

Disk Order, coded by some genius people at LikeMac (http://www.likemac.ru/english) is the best file manager so far for OS X.

People like me, coming from the Windows world, are accustomed to using Total Commander (former Windows Commander) coded by another genius Christian Ghisler. This is basically a file manager with two panes but you get to do anything with it, it can even replace your daily Windows shell.
